Here's a modern and very cool take on the short-lived bassinet phase of babyhood. Of course, all that elegant Kika style will set you back about $1450. We've come a long way since babies were put in dresser drawers to sleep!

SO, vinyl wall decals are everywhere and I can't decide if I like them or completely tired of them. But these are a little more original than the typical circles or bird silhouettes...from EllyNelly. These are pretty cute.
Former model Angie Hill's funky modern renovation of the Hollywood Hills' (in)famous "Nightmare on Elm Street" home.
"It began as a nosy day out – a friend rang up Angie Hill and told her the house featured in A Nightmare on Elm Street was on the market, why didn't they go to view it? By the end of the afternoon, Angie had fallen in love with the property and was picturing herself, not the film's monster, Freddy Krueger, walking through the door."
It's so warm outside - perfect for an outdoor dinner! Here are some pretty outdoor spaces found on LivingEtc. galleries:

"SCRAPILE is the collaborative work of designers Bart Bettencourt and Carlos Salgado. Seeking to create a positive environmental impact with their work, these two have developed a unique method of collecting and repurposing discarded scraps of wood from New York's woodworking industry. Since it's conception in Fall 2003, this project has continued to yield an ever-evolving line of furniture and product which by its very nature insists each piece be one of a kind."

The city of Memphis held a competition to design a 4,500 acre urban park (that is 5 times the size of Manhattan's Central Park). The winner was NYC-based Field Operations (warning: their website will give you vertigo) and their scheme includes an open bison range, an arboretum, a
four-mile perimeter lake, and gardens. The strategy absorbs the site’s
agricultural history and the philosophy of the Agricenter, a
public-private partnership that currently occupies part of the land and
offers sustainable farming, RV parking, rodeos, and daily farmer’s
markets. Pretty cool renderings...can't wait to see it when it's done.
