Frank Lloyd Wright House for Sale
These babies sure don't come on the market often. The exterior elevation and pool of the Fawcett House was designed by an aging Frank Lloyd Wright in 1955 and completed in 1961, two years after his death. It's on the market for $2.7 million. Expansive + Minimal
The first thing I thought of when I saw this beautiful loft was...roller skates. I would love to roller skate through this humongous, wood-floored wonder. Then I began to question how any family could live this minimally. I mean - I call shenanigans on this one. They did not just move in. They have a toddler. How did they avoid the large plastic ride-in cars and yellow grocery cart? Everyone has those! Where are their things? Photos? High chairs? Billy Joel Songbooks at the piano? Scribble drawings and US Magazines? Still. Lovely loft. See more of it here.

According to this very fun site, Christina Aguilera has slashed the price on her Los Angeles home to a mere $7 million. What is it with the mansion-hopping? She has since moved to the Osbourne's old 11,000 square foot home in Beverly Hills and needs to unload this 5 bedroom, 7 bath, 6,000 square foot home.

A Cool London Loft
This loft space in Shoreditch, East London was once a 19th century puppet and costume factory. The home has an open-plan kitchen, dining/living area, 3 bedrooms, a study, and cloakroom. The 2,200 square foot place was a disaster when the family purchased it. The brickwork was painted (12 coats) to cover up the hideous orange, and they scoured town for antiques to compliment the raw finishes in the loft. I really like the indoor window boxes in the kitchen and dining area. Featured in Living, Etc.

Without a doubt, San Francisco has some gorgeous old homes. Two renovated properties are on the market now and very fun to take a peek at. And, if you have a spare $10 million plus, they can be yours!
This first mansion is in the heart of Pacific Heights - great neighborhood. It has 9 bedrooms, 7 fireplaces, and 10 bathrooms. Elevator, ballrooms, butler's kitchen...definitely from a by-gone era, but gorgeous to look at. Here are a few photos (listed for $14.9 million...gulp).
